I have a 79 with a power antenna. The power antenna does not work. The radio in the car has been changed, so I don't know if the power antenna was hooked up. The antenna is in the up position. Looking under the left rear fender is see three wires coming from the antenna motor, black, white, and green. Is there any way to jump these wires to test the antenna motor?

When you start the car, can you hear a buzzing sound in the rear storage area? That is where the relay is located for the antenna

In my 82, even thought the antenna is "stuck" up, when I start the car I hear the antenna relay buzzing like it is trying to activate the motor. Maybe you have a bad relay, at least that is what it sounds like to me |headscratch|

ask Norm what his secret is, he won't tell me! Mine pretends to look like that, from a long way away in good light! LOL
