Vette(s): 1969 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Just bought it from my uncle who owned it since 1971. Fathom green, green interior. 350/300, T400.
I was under the dash checking fuses on the '69 when I noticed 2 purple wires with a "T" shaped plug on the end near the fuse box, it isn't plugged into anything, but looks likes it's supposed to be. I looked for a long time, but I couldn't find another end. Anybody know what this is for?
Thanks,
Matt

Vette(s): 1970 Conv. 350/350, Wht./Blk.,P/W P/B,P/S,TT, 4 Spd.
If your vette is a 4 speed it goes to the switch on your clutch pedal for the safety lock out.

If it is an automatic, it is not used.

Hope that helps.

Bill

Mine's an automatic, so that makes sense.

Thanks,
Matt
