Driving down the road my radio quit ,then I hit a bump and it came back on. After a stop I got going and it quit again . When i got home I checked the grounds and the the radio connections everything looked fine. Suggestions on what to check next.......Thanks

Something similar happened to me several years ago. In my case it turned out one of the battery cables was loose and breaking contact. A little later that same day when I tried to start the car and nothing happened I figured out the problem. It was a cheap fix...tighten the battery cable end.

That happened to a 67 or 69 Camaro I had. All the radio conections were fine except the loose antenna cable. That fixed it.

Is yours the AM/FM slide left and right band selector? Mine does that and it I slide the selector back and forth it comes back on. Some sort of internal loose connection.
