Vette(s): 1970 T-Top350/350hp numbers matching 4 speed. It's a mess and 1970 Convertible 4 speed.
Hey I want to replace the wiring harness for the tails lights and the part books it looks like you just disconnect from a point and reconnect and plug the lights in. Is that the case is it as simple as it looks?

SUUUUURE it is! Go for it!
Actually, it's not too bad on the later cars, but...your's also has the fiber-optic light monitors, so you have to be careful with that. If I remember correctly(here we go again!), the rear harness plugs in at the drivers side rear of the bulkhead, and follows the frame back to the rear, and then across to the pass. side. It will also have the wiring for the fuel gauge sending unit, and the alarm, depending on how you order it, and if your car has the alarm. It's not really a hard job to do, just a little tedious, as you have to crawl back there and unplug/plug the harness from the inside, rear of the compartment. If you're a smaller sized guy, you should have no problems. If you're a bit...ahem...larger, it might be a bit painful!
Figure a couple of hours for this.
