I need to replace my horn on a '73, and I see 3 different notes available "A" and "D" and "F", anyone know which one or it is suppose to have both and I only have 1  Confused ?
Not being musically inclined... (mostly deaf) which sounds best?

73/74 Single horn cars have a "Low note" (A?)
In 74, there was a "Dual Horn" option(U05), and this second horn has a higher note. (F?)
Which sounds best? It's YOUR car!!
Is it is a single horn car, and you want "original" sound, go with the "A". Otherwise...does it really matter? You plan on playin a symphony or sumpthin?

The higher the note, normally the louder the horn is.

I got a single I guess... so I will go with something that can be heard, as I think that is the purpose... right now sounds like a sick cow. Tried adjusting both ways... but that just "kilt it" the cow that is...

The D was common with only one horn.  The A and F were common with two horns.   Any combo will do.  All three really get your attention.  Some caddys had 4 different notes from the factory.

I would have guessed that Joel had the one that played Dixie like the General Sherman Mopar on the Dukes of Hazzard.
