I am considering doing this since mine works but no longer goes up and down any longer. The antenna motor no longer runs, so the quick fix kit that is sold is not an option. I'm just going to buy a new unit. My question is...what's involved with replacing the antenna for all of you that have done it before. It seems pretty straight forward but thought I would get some info from people who have done it already.
Thanks!

Have swapped out power antennas on other cars and have found it to be a relatively easy job. Some places are rather hard to reach, but there really isn't a lot to the job.
