Hey Folks,
As soon as my new power window motor arrives, I'll be removing the old one and replacing it with the new.  I've got all my manuals, traversed C3VR, and scanned the internet for best advice on "how to".  I came across the following site...
that details out the replacement of a motor (albeit not a 'Vette...but a GM vehicle).  I wanted to see if you agreed with this procedure?  Especially, the part about drilling some small holes in the inner door panel to access and remove the window motor rivets?  That scares me.  Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

I am having the same issue and posted a post for help no one has helped me so far. You have a plate the covers the motor remove that and you can get to the motor. reach your hand behind the motor using a 7/16th wrench there are three screws remove and the motor comes right out. I think you have to drill the rivets out because they can get worn out and cause the motor to move and jump off track. my problem is the gear wont stay on track and I think it is because of the loose rivets. if you find out please help

i think the rivets are for the window gear attached to the tracks. there are 3 bolts ( 3/8 or 7/16) that hold the motor in place. as first vette said take off cover and motor should be right there.  little tricky getting it out but patience is the key. that's how it is on my 75
