Ok... this is odd... i think i know what it is but not sure. Two q's here. My 71's pop up lights worked fine wheni bought it, but my right light now vibrates wildly. I'd assume that its a problem with a loose buffer.... my best guess. Thats q' one. Why is it vibrating... buffer? Secondly, my right light is only out when the low beams are on.... on high beams all 4 beams come on. My best guess is that the wire grounded somewhere do to the profuse vibration? Sound reasonable... Thnx...

Brandon, I would check the headlight bulb for corrosion, or a bad connection. I just looked at the light wiring diagram from another post and I can't see anything that would cause this, unless it was a bad connection. As far as the vibration, the light assemble has a adjustment on it. I don't have my manuals with me, but if no one else lists the adjustments, I'll find it and send it on to you.

its time to buy a new headlight if its out on low beam and on when the high beams are on. I had a 81 trans am and got pulled over cause my headlight was out. But when i turned the high beams on it came on fine. Bought a new one and thats all it was. As for the vibraitons im not sure about that are all the springs and still connected?

My 75 has vacuum motors on the headlights. If you have these, check for vacuum leaks and leaking vacuum switches.
