I'm looking at a set of wires on E-Bay. The question is, will 90 degree distributor boots work ok? I noticed mine have the straight boot. Also, what's the opinion on these wires?  http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Accel-Spark-Plug-Wires-55-74- Chevy-283-307-327-350-400_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33692QQ itemZ8001067126QQrdZ1

They look pretty much like the Accel Extreme 9000 wires in Mid America with a Kevlar innercore for about $60 less.  Auto Zone is about the same price, $90, for the same wires.  Mostly it's the 90 degree dist. boots I'm concerened about.

90` boots at the dist. shouldn't be a problem. May take some creative routing, to get them under the shielding properly, but other than that.......

Well, I don't have the shielding so that's not a problem there. I'm hoping the spark plug boots won't burn up like the ones I have now. The heat shielding is missing between the manifold and plugs and fries the boots. You know if those four shields are still available for the stock manifolds?
