Since I'm sure it's bound to happen to myself, or someone else, I have a couple of questions pertaining to the starter switch that's activated by pressing on the clutch.
- How do you bypass it if it fails ?
- How difficult is it to replace ?
Just need to know just in case.
Thanks,
Cookie

1) Jump the two wires in the connector together(and make sure the trans is in neutral before starting)
2) Piece-o-cake
How's that for simple answers?

Thanks Joel,
I searched a couple supply sites and couldn't find the switch, have any idea's where I could find it ?
I know I should leave well enough alone, but since it's probably a original part I might as well change it.
It should be an electrical part that is still in production and easily obtained. It is called a Neutral Safety Switch. Your local parts store shoulf be able to get one. All of the Vette parts houses have them.
