Vette(s): 1980 L-48 still in the middle of a frame-off.
What is the value of the tach filter?? One site said 47nF  That doesn't sound right.. 47uF would be a more common value.    This seems to be a big secret.

It shows a .10mfd(capacitor/condenser), a 5.6k resistor, and a 10k resistor. Input to output resistance total of 15.6k (thats the 5.6k added with the 10k)  corvette440hp2008-10-30 05:59:10

Well....I may have posted that diagram, but I got it from someone else that had it...the original poster posted a link to the engineering drawing, and I modified it for the purpose of showing how it was wired in the system. No matter....as long as it helps.


btw...different year models may use different values as far as resistance...Adams' Apple2008-10-30 06:39:59
