I hate too sound like an idiot, but whats the easiest way to change my turn signal indicator bulbs in the speedo cluster ? from the front or from the backside ? haven't tried it yet.in other words ,do I have to pull the cluster out,or can I snake my skinny arms up under the dash

Don't worry Ron, just take straight highways, option turn signals not needed. Better for the engine and mileage.
And if needed , go sideways, than your poop is showing what your doing... or trying at least ...

You'll have to pull the cluster out to get to the bulbs. Bummer, man...
You might be able to get to them by taking the upper dash-pad off. I've found it easier to remove the pad than the cluster. But...what do I know?

I've had the cluster out in my '78 and it's not that tough. It just takes a bit of time to be careful. While you have it out, replace all the bulbs back there so you don't have to do it again.
