Help, My LH turn signal indicator quit working a couple of weeks ago. I just assumed it was a burnt out bulb. Saturday I bought new bulbs and replace the one for the LH signal indicator (lamp at bottom of Speedometer), but it didn't work. I then swapped the bulbs from the RH indicator and LH indicator, just to make sure I had a working bulb in there, but still no indicator (RH works fine). Just to be clear, the turn signals work fine, It's just the green LH arrow at the bottom of the speedometer which doesn't light. I checked my wiring diagram, and can't see anything between the turn signal switch and the indicator lamp (light blue wire circuit 14). Any one know if there is any kind of connector in the harness between the indicator lamp and the switch? It looks like I have to take the dash apart to trouble shoot this further. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

John -- I hear ya bro! Same thing just happened to me, first right, then a few days later, the left. Difference is, I'm just waiting for them to "magically" reappear!
It's the electric magic thang ya know.

I haven't yet taken anything apart. I ASSUMED it was the bulbs, but now I'll just wait and see how this thread progresses. Let the 'experts' weigh in. Good luck!

Well, there is at least one connector between them. That would be the one at the bottom of the steering column, where the t-sig harness plugs into the vehicle harness.
Yo may have a ground problem in the cluster by the light for that lamp. Looks like you'll be pulling the dash, anyway. I'll look at the diagram when I get home this eve., and see if there are other possibilities...it could be the t-sig switch, too.

I just thought about the ground. I suspect there is a seperate ground on the Speedometer, but if that was ungrounded, than the speedometer illumination probably would be out, right? As for the connector at the bottom of the steering column, that was my next thing to check. How do I get to it? Is there a panel under the steering column which can be removed, or is it under the dash at the base of the column?
Thanks for the help,
JR
