OK Corvette fans, here's one for you..Joel, Ken and anyone else..Let's solve this puzzle..Today my turn signals would not flash, all indicators work, in dash, rear and front signals light up? So I changed the most obvious thing the little silver flasher # 225 with a new one..Does not flash when I use the turn signal arm on the column? I then pulled the 4 way emergency flashers and yes the flasher started flashing, all lambs worked and the clicker clicked??
..What ghost is in my car, a 1976 with tilt/telescoping steering column? Is there a glass fuse with the flasher? It all lights up but no flash?
..This is new and has never happen before..What's the answer..Signed, "Needs help in Alaska"..

Vette(s): #1 -1969 Corvette Coupe Riverside Gold, black interior,MN,A/C,350/350,PS,PB,window cranks.
#2 -2000 C5, black/black, 6 sp, Bose system & lots of buttons.
Do they show up on your console plate (I'm not sure what the 76's had on there). One time I was jackin' around with the turn signals and I had the darn plugs in incorrectly. Did you say you check your fuses?

No, silly
...there are separate flashers for the turn sigs and da flashy things. I'm not sure on your year, but the t-sig flasher should be under the pass. side dash panel. You can feel it if you put your hand up under the bottom of the panel where the map pocket is.
(The flasher for the hazzards is the one by the fusing box.)
If the lamps light up, but don't twinkle, it is most likely the flasher gone bad, but...it could also be a ground problem. The flasher is the #1 culprit, tho.
Happy huntin....
Da waring diagram does show both flashers in the fuse box, but....it could be rong...
