Got an extra wire I do not know where it goes. There are two gray wires one plugs into the fuse box IGN slot the wire that accompany that one was laying on the floor. Both wires are part of a two wire cord that seems to go thru the firewall. I have the dash out of my car now. The one that is disconnected goes to a ground somewhere as I ohmed it out.
Any help on this please

Grey wires are usually associated with illumination lamps, such as instrument cluster lights, etc., on Sharks. Perhaps the wire(s), if they run thru to the engine side of the firewall, are for the underhood lamp?
A pic, if possible, might help.
