The turn signals (both left and right sides) on my 1971 Corvette blink abnormally fast when activated.  It seems like they blink twice as fast as normal.  The four way flashers work normally.  I have replaced the flasher that plugs into the top of the fuse box, however this did not correct the problem .  Does anyone have any thoughts on what the problem and/or fix might be.  Thanks.

Replace the flasher for the turn signals.  It is located under the passenger side dash - slightly toward the right kick panel.  The flasher unit on the fuse panel operates the hazard lights, not your turn signals.

Had the same problem with my '72 last year.

Good luck.

John

Put your ear under there.. you will hear it... if it's like mine the PO shoved it up under the dash and hard to see...

Thanks very much for the information.  It looks like I was changing the wrong flasher.  I appreciate your input.  Thanks again
