I'm not sure if Jason only services these tachs or if he sells parts as well. I'm just getting ready to send him my tach for a new board, he really knows his stuff and can be reached here (e-mail, you will have to copy and paste) VetteInstruments@aol.com
I just ordered a filter from Eckler's, pn 45731, price $29.99. they are out of stock until 3/11. did a search on ebay. there were four or five used filters for sale. don't think I'd buy one.
this guy
http://my.execpc.com/~rodney1/corvette/ also offers a replacement for sale for $49.00 on his web page and $42.00 on ebay. if I don't like what I get from Eckler's, I'll return and buy his.

just received my filter from Ecklers. it was made by Rodney Dickman. I don't like it, see pic below, so I will return and buy the filter that looks like the old one directly from Rodney Dickman.
That doesn't look like mine either. If you have any luck would appreciate another post. I'm told the filter isn't needed, but I really don't think it was put there, because they didn't have anything else to put there ??
I suppose I'll have to buy a circuit board too
Thanks for the input

Vette(s): Owned a Red 75 corvette between 1985-1993. Recently purchased a 76 buckskin Corvette.
I bought my tach board from ecklers. The one they sell is a nordskog replacement. I put it in place of my orginal working tach board and was way off. With the key on, it went to 3500 and stayed there (would not start at zero like stock). It would vary with RPM like a tach, but the pointer would never drop below 3500. So I put my original back in an left it that way. wanted to avoid having to pull the dash out later to replace the tach board.
