Only answer this if you know off the top of your head not if you have to go check because I am soooo lazy, I haven't bothered to look for myself!Embarrassed  Why should you and not me?

One of the last things I checked before putting the car into hibernation was the wipers.  They didn't work.  At the time I was to annoyed to check into it, not even to pull the fuse.  So, i'm doing some info gathering before I dig into it.  Worst case is I forget the whole thing and slather some rainX on the windshield and be done with it!LOL

IF your car has the intermittent wipers, the module should be on the fuse box(at least it is on the earlier cars). It actually takes the place of the wiper fuse....it's just a small circuit board. I have pics of one somewhere, but prolly won't be able to find them.

Otay...scratch that...Embarrassed The '80-'82 cars had a different set-up. Looks like it plugs into the harness at the bottom of the steering column.....not really sure, tho. Heck, it might be out under the hood, next to the wiper motor....Wacko

Are you suggesting, Sir, that I actually have to go out to the car and search for it myself!  I thought you folks in Texas were helpful!LOL

That pic does show what the darn thing is supposed to look like.  I can't picture anything like that under the hood from memory so that's probably where it's located!

Thanks Joel

I know in the 80 the module is located in the rear compartment. On my 79, it is located under the center console. Hope that helps.

This is from Lectric Limited.
It is a new and improved design. Much better than the old design which is hard to find and very expensive. It is designed and made in the USA. I'll probably get one of these soon and keep it on hand when mine decides to quit.

OK, that is one dumb location.  I'll give it a shot.  Hopefully it's just the fuse...no way in hell

Always happy to help out when I can. I remember seeing that module when I was putting in a new power antenna relay. It's weird that they put that back there. But then again, they did a few weird things on the '80-'82 vettes.

Hopefully it's just a fuse, but if that delay module quits you have no wipers. Here is a cheap alternative from lectric limited if you don't mind giving up the "delay" feature.
