Thanks all sorted now. Checked power to motor and earth connection, 12+ volts at motor corroded connections at motor and at switch. Ill clean all them off. Once i had moved the switch back and forth i got movement in the motor. So thanks for all your help again. Regards, brian

I think you will all enjoy this one.
Here goes. I had to change my windscreen due to age (delamination). That all went well, ive been checking all electrics in the car following dash lights etc and some other issues. Went to check the wipers to ensure all was well on the new screen , and nothing. Ive judt started checking this out question. Is there anything comes to mind with anyone, before i progress further. As all was working before i changed the screen. Could be just coincidence. But does seem strange. Thanks in advance for your help. Redborderreivers.
Ok sorted problem. Check for volts at motor connections and earth from motor. 12v + at supply to motor but corrosion/fouling on terminals, initially cleaned terminals and moved switch back and forth ,started to get the motor working, continued operating switch and fully cleaning terminals started to get all motor speeds and intermittent operation, so thanks to all for input, looks like its same problem thats been mentioned befor regarding the oxidation on the fuseboard. Just requires all terminals to be cleaned and all operations are returning. To be honest i was concerned that i may have damaged the intermittent wipe control board. But all seems operational, thanks again for all the help, best regards brian

Brian, Glad you got that sorted.
I guess oxidisation is a bit of a problem for you up there in "Vera country"!😄
