I see the replacement cruise harness in the Lectric Limited catalog you're talking about.

That second connector appears to be a female and is simply a piggyback terminal for plugging a second line into the same fusebox terminal.
You don't have the lights buzzer so you most likely won't need it and can just tape it off.
I didn't see anything like that under my dash but perhaps it got changed for late production 78s as some other items also got changed.
If you check the catalog you'll see for 81 they changed the connector that goes to the fuse box to a multiple connector.
edit....Looking in my 78 manual, I see that piggyback connector on the HEADLITE BUZZER harness.....
Gonna look under the Pace Car dash and see if it's the same. About 4 months earlier prod. than the SA.

[QUOTE=mkapp7879]Two connectors at the SAME end? Or opposite ends? You're saying you DO HAVE that pink connector that's plugged into the center of the fuse panel, the ign outlet? The other end would go to the headlight on warning buzzer, which is part of the "convenience group" that I don't believe you have. Delay wipers are part of that option and you don't have that.
You don't even have that little wiper board tucked up into the jumble of wires?

I see in my 79 manual the cruise goes to the gauges fuse instead of the ignition terminal. Possibly started doing that in late 78 which could be why it looks different. The only thing plugged into the ignition terminal is the lights buzzer on 79s and MY late 78.
Im assuming at this point that its just an extra connector, Im going to wrap it up into the cruise harness. Thanks again for your help, and by the way I found that I do have the headlight-on buzzer but not delay wipers. Maybe the buzzer was standard.
