Has anyone converted their headlights with the "blue light" xenon gas bulbs? Not the actual HID conversions. I'm thinking about it and was curious if anyone has had any problems i.e. voltage draw, over heating of bulbs/wiring etc...
I've switched the bulbs in my Avalanche with-out any problems but, I'm guessing that technology and quality of the wiring has change just alittle in 24 years, just a guess.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If you get too much current draw, the circuit breaker in the headlight switch will kick out. The breaker will reset and the lights come back on for a while, only to kick out again.
As long as it stays on, you will be okay.

I tryed a set,you got four conversion lite housings and four X-bulbs,ran them for a couple weeks took them off and sold them at a swap meet, they flickered and they were not that much brighter, kinda worried that I might burn my car down, save your money
