Hi guys,
I recently purchased a 1977 vette and would like to know what the rim pattern size is, I've read it is 5x4.75 with 4-4.5 backspacing is this correct??
Thanks in advance for any help.
Chris.

The bolt pattern is 5x4.75; and I believe the correct backspacing is 4". (I'm not sure about the .5", but that's probably either within the factory specs as well, or within the 'margin of error' that many of these cars seem to accept without a problem.)

I agree. I had a tight fit with 255 x 60x15 and a 4" backset. So I chose a 3 3/4" backset on my last wheel purchase from Les Schwab. It left me about 1/2" clearance.
