i have ordered the firestone indy 500 for my car
now i need a steel wheel 15 x 5 for the spare and a tire to fit it and the car if i get a flat
i am having a problem locating a wheel or what size tire to use
has anyone found a solution to this question

My spare is a P195/80D15 temp that came with the car.
It's in the carrier, but I hope I never have to use it.
Did you check with Coker Tires? They make all the old ones.

Here is one on EBAy that is priced right! It is in Arizona but don't know how close to you. Mine looked crappy like this at first. A little Argent Silver paint and a used white letter radial changed the appearance for the better. Good Luck! Tux...

I agree...check Ebay. A few months ago I found a new, still wrapped in plastic emergency use spare tire and rim for one of my cars...cost less than $30 including UPS shipping.

I actually bought mine from a wrecking yard. When I called they had an old semi with custom rims in it. They had several sizes of rally rims. I bought a 15"X8", painted it up, and bought a white letter radial for it from them too.
All said and done I had about $50.00 in it. I don't have the beauty ring or cap on the spare though. I figured it would just turn to rust under the car in the enclosure.
Just another thought for ya to consider.
