My '82 came with no rear sway bar installed and handles well. But I'm wanting to install a rear bar, 5/8 size. Any problems with the current springs front and rear with the addition. Will the rear have to be realigned after the new installation?

The sway bar won't affect the alignment at all.  Nor will it require changing anything else in the suspension.  It's a straight forward bolt it on job.

Once on, watch your first very hard corner.  The car will stay flatter, and have less oversteer, so it will be more responsive and want to come around a corner quicker than you might expect.  You may turn too sharp.  Lesser corners will simply feel better.
