Hey people I'm looking for a set of alluminum wheels for my 76', should I go with a catalogs set or should I wait for Carlise to see what I can Find? I really want these to be perfect in apperance wint no flaws. Also any ideas as what kind of rubber should go with them, I still have the original rubber on mine and I want to save them for shows (only 4200 Miles on them) plus I really don't feel secure driving long distance with them. Any suggestions would help,Thanks. Mike

Mike, perfect with no flaws? Boy you are ambitious. If you don't mind a little work, you can get a used set and clean them up with sandpaper and they will look great. thanks what I did, they're not perfect, but look great at shows and when cruising.

Nice job on the resized sig image. If you haven't done so already, check the eBay auctions for wheels. I've seen a few sets out there recently. Looking in the Completed Items can give you an idea of the prices that have been paid as well.

You have my attention about sanding aluminum wheels. My 78 wheels have a lot of black spots in the cutouts near the hub. It's a real pain to polish and the results are poor. Just how do you sand the wheels without damaging them.

B.F. GOODRICH T/A's handle well and are long lasting as far as wear goes.
