My 80 is leaking fluid out of my front left brake calliper. My question is , do they make a rebuild kit? Thanks......

Yes they do! Should be available from most of the usual places (including the site's sponsors). There should be a bunch of posts here in this forum on sources for parts.
I rebuilt all four corners on 'The Toy' a year ago and haven't had any surprises or problems since.

Thanks Jim ,Is it a difficult task ? I never had to do this before. Thanks for your help .

Hi all,
I have rebuilt several calipers over time. Last time however the kit cost $35. A new caliper is about $65 and comes with pads. It doesn't make much sense to rebuild it yourself at those prices.
If you shop around you might find a less expensive kit. Once the caliper is appart then inspect the cylinders. If the the bore has a deep rust track then give it up and take the kit back as a sleeved caliper is in order.
Also, make sure you do both the left and right caliper at the same time, especially on the front.

Hi John,
When I did the rebuilds I had more time than money (was laid-off at the time), but once you get them apart take a good look inside to see what kind of shape the cylinders are in. If they're too pitted don't bother with the rebuild - spring for new calipers.
I'm by no means a master mechanic but I took my time and accomplished something I'd never done before. Add a cylinder honing tool to your toolbox. If you have access to a parts washer setup that will save some time.
