It's not the first time I ask about suspension (once again I have a little bit of money ahead of me, but I learned in the past that if I don't spend it quickly on the Vette, the project will be once again postponed) and a quick search on this subject (bb suspension) turned out nothing.
Last night I was web shopping for a suspension kit and one site had a section describing how to choose such a kit. Basically, it said that if you have a BB, you need a minimum of 550 lb (it could have been a little less) for the springs.
If it is so, it forces me to go for the "upper kit" right away (and I noticed that a lot of people complained about those kits for being a little too bouncy); I think that 3 out of 5 kits wouldn't work for a BB. I also want to replace all the bushings and the ball joints. Can I find all of this in one kit ? I'm having a hard time finding a nice little combo and as recommended in other posts; I don't want to mix & match.
HELP!

I would NOT got the 550 lb front springs are they are 1 inch shorter... and will then give you clearance problems. I bought and installed a set a few years ago.. and I would up damn near giving them away when I figured out they lowered the ride height.
460 lbs in greater than stock and is far more than adequate for a BB car.
