The other day I was working on my cruise control and leaned over and accidentally pushed the hose going to the booster and it hissed at me, appears that the fitting there on the booster is leaking, but only when its touched or moved, could this cause me some brake problems? I have read all the posts that i can about brakes on the C-3s and mine are no exception, spongy pedal leaking calipers etc, i have replaced one rear caliper and am about to do the other 3 in the next week or so, I plan on probably having the rotors turned in the process, and go from there. The booster doesnt leak unless you touch that hose but? give me some ideas......

The hose on my '74 connects to the booster thru a hard plastic 90 deg pushed into a rubber grommet. When I first got the car it was loose and would hiss when moved. I made sure it was pushed in all the way and no problems so far.
As long as it's not leaking while you are driving, there is no problem.
With a minor leak while driving, you will have a slightly lean condition from a vacuum leak.
Don't worry about it unless it becomes a problem.

Well I can kinda straighten it out and it stops but really have no way of telling if its leaing when Im driving but let me ask you at an idle my car seems to have a slight miss but as soon as it gets to about 900 rpm or so its smooth as silk, cruising also no problems, I was pretty sure that I do have a vaccum leak somewhere but have other issues to address first being that this car has just been put back on the road in the past few months, ie (brakes) also like I stated earlier in another forum it been equipped with a 250 hp GM Crate motor with the stock Q-Jet and gets 12 miles to the gallon period, I figure thats about as good as its gonna get huh?? Nah, I'm getting 20mpg on a 74 L-82 auto. Even after you adjust for the smaller gallon it should still be 16 or so hwy miles.
My guess is it's leaking. You may want to get a new grommet. The 90 degree connector with the check valve can also be purchased at most parts stores.
