I need new brake pads on my 1978, (srting to squeak a bit).
Does anybody have any recommendations on the type? I like to keep everything as close to original as possible, but if there is something that delivers better braking I would definately use them. The previous owner replaced the calipers with Stainless Steel.

No racing here-thanks for the advice!
If you are looking to upgrade your pads so that they work well both on street and track, you should use HAWK pads. They come with a price though, but people say they are well worth it.
