Quick question on pads.

Need to replace my front pads, rotors look fine, no pulsation and no signs of any leaking at hose or cliper.

Where do you guys usually buy your brake pads? Just for normal everyday driving pads.

I was thinking of going to Auto Zone or similar. What type or brand do you suggest? Again, this is for normal driving.

Thanks

There are many many choices.  I actually have the AutoZone pads on my car.  For regular driving, they work very well.  If you want to get more sporting, the Carbon Metallic work very well.  Those are what is put on the new Vettes.   For custom wheels you might want to go to ceramic compound pads.  They don't leave any dust on the wheels.kstyer38831.6966898148

Raybestos or Wagner pads are OK for me. Semi-metallics, and I do NOT use any sticky pookie on them! It will cause the pads to stick to the pistons in the calipers, and create a larger air compressor than is already there! my 2c

Of course!  Same thing as gummy goo.  Also know as brake quiet.
