I'm about to replace the rotors on my 72. Any compelling reason to re rivet the new rotors to the hubs?

Thanks for the quick replies, my car is certainly not a trailer queen. As for me being a glutton for punishment, perhaps. Why else would I subjugate myself and my $ to a fiberglas and steel despot?
Anyway, just to prolong this a bit more, any thoughts why the factory did it in the first place. I can assume it was either for some ease in assembly purpose, or perhaps a means to minimize rotor runout.
Cheers

All cars have some form of rotor retention when on the assembley line. It keep rotors from falling of during assembly. After the car is built there is no further reason to have them.
Some use rivits, some use clips, some use screws.
