Ok, need some advise 75 is now out of the Gee rage. Been test driving around the block. Have rubbing sound in left rear after few rounds pull back into the driveway and smell something getting hot. Pull to stop and smoke comes out for right rear wheel well. Don't know if P brake or what. Any ideas before I start tearing the crap out of it? Thanks sgm20042008-07-02 14:25:15

Wow...that don't sound(or smell) too good...
It may be the p-brake dragging...do you normally set it when your park? If you do, and the car has been sitting for a spell, the shoes may have stuck to the rotors, or the cable(s) may be seized.
It could also be a wheel bearing going south, and allowing the rotors to bind on the pads...
Was the smell a brake pad smell?

You said the rubbing noise was in the left rear, but the smoke came from the right rear. I'd lean towards a p-brake problem if that is true, since a stuck p-brake cable would affect both sides, whereas wheel bearings don't usually take a dump at the same time.

Clogged/collapsed right rear brake hose?

ALCON, well I have a warped rotor, when I overheated it plus more issues once I crack it open I'll find out what else. So new one on the way with pads from Zips. Let ya know thanks.
