Just received my rear composite monospring and KYB shocks from VBP. As always they sent a catalog. They show a HydraTech Brake System that replaces the power Booster. Has anybody had any expierence with this system?

Not on a Vette, I haven't, but I've had other vehicles that had similar systems...don't like them...I'm too old to change my ways!!
Corvette Fever just got done building a showcase Vette(Shark Attack), and I believe they did use some sort of Hydro brake system on it, and stated it werks really well. Is this the one that uses the power steering pump to work the "booster"?

Don't know if it uses the power steering lpump or not I'll have to ask the tech at VBP.

Hydra boost using the power steering pump is excellent technology. It is the way all of these diesel pick-ups stop. A diesel engine has very low vacume, so this is a must on one of those. All you have to do is remove the vacume booster and put on a hydra boost, but you have to connect your master cylinder in there. I saw an article on this a year or so ago, I don't think itis necessary.
