I move the vette to the street today and the noise was bad,real bad .I don't think it's the bearing because it more of a knocking sound,and the bearing that I have heard fail at work didn't sound like that.So I am going to arrange a piggy back ride for Ol Blue just to get it up to the hobby shop.That way it's up there when I able to get there to work on it.This is one summer I would love to forget.(Hasn't been mine)

Where is that noise coming from????
They only let me go to Norton AFB in Ca ,that the only west coast base I got to see.Travis dosen't count because I was borading a plane there.Sorry about that Barry
Dan right Kirkland is in New Mexico. That noise is me trying to remember what base is in Arizona

E brake parts breaking and getting in between the shoes and the drum could make a heckuva racket....Iron Mike experienced that at last year's CFAC...

darn, you are correct. It is Luke. Hot and Dry as I recall. We use to have AF bases in Michigan, now there is none. Also Wisconsin and Ill. Now only one in Indiana. Can you name that one!!!!

Well in ILL. there is Scott AFB I spent 3 1/2 yrs there.None in Indiana,but Wright Paterson in Ohio.I remember the base in Michigan Sac base I think.They closed that one early in my Air Force adventure.
