Explain these parts for me

Vette(s): 1982CE,32,000 and counting. (fast!!) 1981 Vette, black on black. ZZ4 (quick!!)
I'm replacing my rear calipers and the shop said I need new "Hub Bearing Assy'.Do these come with the rotor or are they a seperate assy? Thanks.

Vette(s): 1972 conv., sunfire yellow, blk interior, blk vinyl and convertible top. Off frame restoration with American Speed 383 stroker engine producing 500hp plus a 200hp NOS system. MSD ignition. Hooker super competition headers with chambered exhaust.
I think you're talking about the rear wheel bearing and seal kit and it will not come with the rotors.

Jim, If he needs the wheel bearing assembly with the rotor and trailing arm I feel sorry for him. Probably close to $1k. Ouch

You can replace the bearing retainer,with out replacing the trailing arm,it bolts onto the trailing arm with 4 bolts,you can buy them with the bearings and axles installedThumbs%20Up

Hey Z... did you drive the car to the shop?? If so, was either rear tire tilting inward from the top side of the tire toward the center of the car?... cause... if not,  there shouldn't be a need to replace the entire bearing assembly... just the bearings... albeit, its a whoooole lot 'easier' to replace the assembly already set up(new bearings, spacer, axle, shim).. but, (always one of those), unless one of the bearings is in pieces, there isnt a need to replace the entire assembly...  just takes someone with a little 'know how' to replace and set up the bearings.
