Hey guys, have another issue, lol.
I did a lot of stuff to the front end that can't be changed again, but I took off a lot of weight. The engine and trans are in and still the car is an easy 4" plus off the ground. Even after my dad and I are int he engine bay thats about 500LBS its till off by a lot. The condenser, radiator, fan kit, ac/ alternator , ps pump all still has to go in, plus the fluids. Its not going to be much weight there. Any bolt in components such as racing or sport springs that can be purchased so It can go right in and take the ride height back down? Thanks again guys,

I have the same problem with my 78 but i didnt take any weight off. rebuilt the front suspension and my front end is WAY to high. I cant tell if it was like this before since I disassembled the car without ever seeing it properly assembled. Im thinking about cutting my springs shorter. Would softer springs give the car a "springy bouncy" ride?????

Most often when someone replaces springs at only one end of the car, they think it sits too high. It is partly because it will settle an half inch or so in a few weeks, but mostly because the whole car had gradually settled lower and now you raised one end to original height. Check your AIM for heights to determine if you really have a problem. It is usually better to cut a little off a spring rather than using a softer spring. Remember to do very little at a time, as you can't add back onto a spring once you cut it.

Sounds like You are still in the Assembly stage. Have You Rolled the Car at all. If not roll it back and forth a couple of Times to let it settel out and You might find its not that far off. Then give it a Couple of weeks to settle in. Are the Springs in there Pockets? The best way to Lower it is with New Springs. The Easyest Way is to Heat up the Bottom Coil with a Torch and Let it Sag. There are Lots of Springs avalable.
