Vette(s): 1978 Silver Anniversary model. Original L82 engine, 700r4 trans, edelbrock intake, thorly headers, rack&pinion steering, mono rear and front spring, MSD 6A box
A couple of months ago I installed the rear monospring and am real happy with it. I'm going to order the front monospring from VBP. If anyone else is considering the same now is the time to go for it. VBP has a big sale going on until the 30th of sept. The transverse composite monospring system is on sale from $789.95 to $631.95.

I really want to know how you like it compared to the coil spring setup. I've been thinking about it for a while.

My buddy has it on his 70 coupe and is happy with it. You can adjust the ride height on all four corners with the front like this. He also has the VBP upper control arms too.

As soon as I install them I'll post a evaluation.
I installed this on mine a few months ago along with the upper & lower tubular control arms & ball joints. There is no comparison to the coil spring suspension. You can adjust the height on either side, it allows for 4 levels of suspension stiffiness. I have mine on the 3rd highest level. The car handles better than the 15" tires will allow. If I went to low profile tires I'm sure it would hug the roads much better. I would say if you're into modifing & improving your handling this kit from VBP is well worth the money. You will need to have a full front & possibably rear allignment done though. Once you set your ride height leave it alone or your allignment will change.
