What is the correct way to bleed brakes for 80 vette? Just put on new calipers and rotors. Is there a sequence?

Vette(s):
SOLD - "The Toy" - '70 Convertible
SOLD - "The Beast" - '90 ZR-1 (#682)
SOLD - "Betty" - '28 Ford Model A Tudor
SOLD - "BLKBRRD" - '78 Pontiac Trans Am
"BLUBYU" - '04 Coupe

There are several threads that have the bleeding sequence detailed out.

Both the Chilton's and Haynes repair manuals detail it out also.

And don't forget the rear calipers have inside and outside bleeders.

If you can get or make a pressure bleeder, you can do it yourself without a helper pumping the brake pedal. That way you have full control of the process.

If you decide to use a silcone fluid, make sure you get all the old fluid out.

Hey Dude, you might consider having a Pro do this if you aren't sure. You have yourself and whoever might be with you lives in your hands, plus other poeple on the road. At least have a pro check your work when you are finished.
You have probably thought about this so this is just a suggestion. Good Luck, Gene
