Topic: I’m back with an update!
in Forum: C3 Engines, Driveline and Handling
HEy guys,
I havn't been on here in awhile. I've been busy with a lot of things. The vette, school, and I started dating this girl. Enough chit chat, lets get down to business! We started putting everything back together on the rear end. the onlything thats missing is the half shafts (will be installed shortly), and tightning, torquing, kotter pinning, and castle nutting, and some minor painting! After that the rear-end is done. And I just recieved my rebuilt power steering cylinder, and control valve today!!!!!!!!!!! Here are some pics (sorry I just caught the crappy color match-up, and staleness... some1 was messing with settings, and it wasn't me!)
Wow that cadmium really protects, and it looks great!!!
In due time I will driver her.....

lOOKS VERY GREAT JOB
Hey, red calipers ??.... isn'd that for race cars ????
l00l, red calipers = wanna go? Thanks guys. Your responses are what makes me see the large possible outcome. Right now everyone1 else except my girlfriend, and my friend mike, and my dad think it s apile of dump. You guys think its the bomb, thats pretty sweet. If I get out there myslef during the week and do a few things, and then finish everything up this sunday... we can have the engine finally in by next sunday! the 16th. This is going to be hella cool. To think this started as a dream shared by 2 men in a garage set fourth on a mission to bring life back into America's only TRUE sports car. And in a short time the mission will be accomplished.

You have a lot more patience than me.
I would have taken a lot of short cuts just to get it done so I could drive it.
I give you a lot of credit for sticking with it.
Both you and your dad will be very proud when it is complete. And you will have great memories to last your lifetime. And that is what it is really all about.
Keep up the good work.
