I am getting ready to purchase a rear fiberglass monospring and wanted to know (suggestions) what to purchase? I have a 1968 big block and all I'm looking for is a good ride?

Any thoughts would be apreciated.

Hey Rhey:
I put the 330# monospring on my 79 about a year and a half ago. I love the ride. Just remember you WILL have to change out your shocks as well to match the rate of the spring. KYB makes shocks tuned especially to the different dampening rate of the monofilament springs. VBP is where I bought the spring. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I agree. I got mine from VBP and couldn't be more pleased: note, my wife go's to sleep in my vette now were she would not even ride in it before the new spring. If you ask for a tech. they will walk you through the hole prosess and recommend what spring and shocks are best for you. Good Luck |thumb|
