If it could happen, to me, it will!! other than a brand new alternator taking a dump on me on the way to CCX, to my surprise, and Dan at Van Steele, after parking the vette in the garage upon arrival home from CCX i notice the car listing to the left. What the ^&^&%$ is this all about i says to myself. I look under the car and there i find a brand new 360# fiberglass monoleaf spring Snapped.
Go figure. Fortunately for me , Dan said he would get it replaced.

Murphy's Law...what can go wrong, will go wrong.
Irving's Law...Murphy was an optimist!
I feel for ya...glad you're getting good service to take care of the problem.

yes , they`ve been good to me. usually i have to fight for that too!
You're not alone, my alternator failed while I was riding back to the house to pack for CCX. I hope that I don't have the spring break too!

ANYONE ELSE FACE TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES?
I didn't go for obvious reasons but Murphy and I are very close. In fact too close. He just seems to hang around a lot when I am worrking on the car.

It's a good thing it didn't snap on ya while you were cruizin along the twisties!!! Better it happened in da garage!
Anything electrical will always fail...just a matter of when.
I used to have a cartoon of two guys, with long, white beards, and wings, in heaven, looking at a list about 15 feet long. Beside them was a large, artillery-looking machine. The caption?
"Hmmmm...let's see. June 14th, 1977, John Smith, 234 Brookhollow Lane, Detroit...scheduled for a mysterious alternator failure while rushing to wedding". The second panel was the two guys aiming, and firing the ray-gun at a car down on the planet.
I truly believe that how it works...

Geez Bob, did it happen when you swerved to miss the horse and buggy?
I think I told everybody my speedo took a dump on our Thursday PM tour.
It was a real pain (literally) driving home (730 miles) without the cruise control.
I know, I'm spoiled.
Got two new speedo cables. Now I need to get some lube and make the change.
Gotta find out why my running lights are working intermittently. Thinking loose ground.
And the list keeps going.
