Fortunately , I had zero problems (except for the black tar spots !!!). 1000 miles with a 43 year old beast !!! whatta ride it was !
The only hit was financially with Hunter's meals !!

IN CASE ANY OF YOU DECIDE TO GO WITH VETTE BRAKES AND PRODUCTS FOR THE MONO LEAF SPRING HERE SOME FOOD FOR THOUGHT. AS YOU KNOW MY SPRING SNAPPED WHEN I GOT BACK FROM CCX. VAN STEELE INSTALLED THE SRPING ORIGINALLY, WHICH WAS PURCHSED FROM VBP. IT HAD A 5 YEAR WARRANTY, ANY WAY dAN BROUGHT THE SPRING TO VBP FOR REPLACEMENT AND THEY BLAMED THE DAMAGED TO HEAT ( EXHAUST) AND WERE HESITANT TO REPLACE, UNTILL DAN INFORMED HIM THAT THOIS WAS A SIDE EXHAUST CAR, WHICH RULED OUT THE HEAT. SO I DO RECOMMEND VBP ANY LONGER.
sO WHILE MY CAR WAS GETTING IT`S SPRING FIXED , i DECIDED TI=O TREAT HER TO A NEW SET OF SWAY BARS FRONT AND REAR. aND WHILE I WAS TAKING HER HOME AND GETTING READY TO TEST THE HANDLING, I GOT INTO THE PEDAL AND MURPHY STRUCK AGAIN. THE CAR BOGGED ,COUGHED .SPUTTERED MISSED AND STALLED. CARB TOOK A DUMP.I GOT A GRAND INTO THIS CARB BETWEEN THE PURCHASE AND THE CALIBRATION AND TUNE. I CAN`T SEEM TO GET A BREAK. STARTING TO QUESTION MY DECISION ON HIGH PERFORMANCE MOTOR.

Hey Bob, sorry to here that about VB. Never had a problem with MAM, Ecklars, or Corvette America when replacing parts. Are you sure that its your carb, kind of sounds like a timing issue. Just my thoughts! Keep us posted. Dick
