Hey guys,
As per our previous converstaion; I went down to a local tire shop that was reccomended by a lot of people. I talked to a guy (manager) John at a local Tire Works. I was there for about an hour and a half. Between him, and and another guy we came up with my final combo. However I'l still not sure. Today I'm supposed to be going back taht to see what this tire looks ike mounted on the wheel. However, I checked the reviews on these Pirellis and they are horrible. Noisy, horrible treadware, bad comfort. They are Pirelli P6000 Sport Velocity 100H
P235/60R/16 all the way around with 16x8" Torque Thrust 2 wheels. After the wheels, tires, mount/balance, wheel locks, tax, and old tire disposal I'm paying 1,487.40. Not bad... thats actually a much better price than tire rack considering what I get. The only other tire he was in this size is a Yokohama Avid V4S which has every option either in or highly near superior, and its actually like $3 cheaper per tire comapred to the Pirellis. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

These Dayton wheels are extremly good tires he said. And they're made by Bridgestone, so you know they aren't crap.
Plus, hes worked with me for 4 hours, in the past 2 days, pulling wdown all sorts of sizes, and brands, calling all kinds of people.
He even ordered 4 wheels wo I can just see them. These Dayton tires are cheaper than the Pirellis, or the Yokohamas  so hes not just trying to make a sale, hes actually a cool cat.

Hello all - thanks for all the positive steeroids emails - you gave  me encouragement to seek a solution - the shop I had it in just told me to convert back to original.  BUT I went to the vettefest in Chicago Saturday and got in a good conversation about the problem with the guys from Muskegon Brake apparently they have seen thus before when hooker headers are installed and told me that Steeroids actually offers several "knuckle" options to solve my situation - so as Muskegon brake is only about 45 minutes from my house I am running the car out there.

Louis,

I would go for these tyres.  Beside better quality and cheaper, you would like how they keep you happy in time while driving.   Very Good tyres.

Best of Luck in getting your tyres.
