The frame for my '73 should hopefully be back in the garage by the end of the week and ready to have things bolted back onto it.  My plan is to first get it back on the suspension so that it is a little easier to move around.  The first thing I will probably buy is a complete poly bushing kit, and then I was looking at the street & slalom system by VBP.  I noticed on the Van Steel website that there is an option for "smart struts" for $100 more.  My question is what is it and does anyone think it would be worth the extra money?

What Smart Struts do is lower the center point of the strut rod and put less side load on your bearing assemblies. Plus they give you a more even tire wear. This is especially good w/low profile tires. If you autocross race you will be able to tell the difference between stock and the smart struts. Overall they are better than the original design and function well.
