I just finished rebuilding the parking brakes on my 75. Picked up my monthly Vette magazine and there is the 3rd part of rebuilding the parking brakes for a 68-82 (C3). Since I read it 'after the fact', I wish I would have had it before hand. I swapped out the old linkages/springs with a stainless steel upgrade I bought last year and just now decided to install it. Now very hard, just tetious, but it's nice to finally have a parking brake.

You are right about that. It sucks having to turn the engine off, put it in gear, just to get out, then back in, because there is no parking brake. We take so many things for granted, that a simple parking brake for most cars isn't a big deal. With a standard tranny, it is a big deal.
