I have a 1971 big block car with non power brakes. I would like to use a vacuum operated power brake booster, but I have roller rockers and a slightly taller than stock valve cover. I know the stock valve covers needs a samll relief in them so the stock 9" brake booster would fit. Here's my question: has anyone out there converted a non power brake corvette to a power brake car using a smaller diameter brake booster? If so, can you give me the benefit of your experience?

Auto City Classic in Minnesota sells a small booster master cylinder kit that I have used in several cars with complete success.

I called Auto City Classic and the guy said he had a 7" booster. That sounds like the rigth diameter, but he said he did not have a bracket specifically to fit a Corvette. He suggested I ask you or anyone else out there who has used a 7" booster what kind of bracket to use. Anybody have any information on this or other ideas to get a small diameter power brake booster on my car?
