Just took the Vette out this morning for a run to the service station for an inspection, and what do you know? no PS
. The pump was dry
. So I refilled it, got the inspection sticker and had them put it on the lift. Well it's not so bad, I just have to replace all four of the PS hoses and Mid America Motorworks will be receiving an order from me after this thread.

If you buy your hoses from a local, or any discounted deal, check to be sure they are bent correctly. We looked at a set that the big and small radius hoses were the same part number! We stock the exact correct hoses, and a set, with forum discount, is about $73.00.

I second that. Some parts store parts are exact fit, and are an excellent replacement. Others come close, can be made to work and are fairly decent. Some are at pain in the back side.
Check closely before starting to install them.
