Hi Tex. First of all welcome to the site. There was just recently a thread on control valve leak. Here's the link, steering. It seems to be a common problem, and may be there first place to look. It took care of my leak problem, and made a huge difference in the steering.
Hope this helps, "T"
There is more pressure in the system pressure side when turning. So look at all the pressure side hoses, etc. It won't likely be a return line or tank leak.
You may have to clean the area with perhaps brake parts cleaner, and run it a bit to find the leak.
