Hi Guys,,,, There is still snow on the ground up here. I need to replace
&nbs p; the tires on my 1980 T-top. I,ve 'HEARD' that I should be getting "B.F. Goodrich T.A's" the sizes proposed are :
> P225/60 R 15's
or
> P225/70 R15 's
Which is more "proper" than the other

The proper sizes are P255/60R-15 or P225/70R-15. The 70 series was standard and the 60 series was optional. Pick one or the other but you shouldn't mix sizes.
The 70 series will likely give you a bit better ride...the 60's will give better handling and braking, but you'll feel more road feedback...not a bad thing but can be annoying when they catch every little stone and rough surface of the road.
