Just replaced my PS Control Valve. Bit of a struggle to thread it all the way down, and I had to run a tap through the bolt hole, because I had buggered up my bolt trying to seat it before the hole was lined up.

It did remove a bit of the play in the steering, but I noticed that the bottom bearing on my steering gear box is worn, allowing the pitman arm shaft to wiggle side-to-side. Another day, another repair.

Corvettes and women are the same...You want to make love to them but they keep breaking down.

I have all the parts for the steering and it comes with free leaks, replaced everything with the Rack & pinion, best thing I ever did.
